'Alicante' is the first joint single by German lo-fi producer LESKY and UK guitarist Waywell for Melting Pot Music. The two met in Tbilisi, Georgia where they shared a studio space and after a few weeks of long night-time sessions, they had crafted a new hybrid sound that they describe as 'Lo-Fi yacht pop', 'You don't have to take it too seriously', they add. Ambient water sounds sit in the background of the track whilst Waywell's gorgeous harmonised guitar line trickles into your ears. Much like being near water, the emotion of the song is fresh and fluid; the beat isn't overpowering, leaving space for the guitar to slide and meander.
